Privacy: data collected and why
Requests sent through the form are stored in the database described below. The data controller is Otmane Aiboud EI; for any question about your data, write to contact@beausignal.com.
- Your project request: name, e-mail, company and website if any, project type, budget, timeline and message, used to answer you and prepare a proposal. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract (GDPR article 6.1.b).
- Abuse prevention: an identifier derived from your IP address with a secret key limits the number of submissions; the raw IP address is not stored in this table. Legal basis: legitimate interest in securing the service (article 6.1.f).
- Technical logs kept by the host (IP address, browser, page requested) are used to run and secure the website. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
- Audience measurement with Google Analytics 4: pages viewed, browser and device information, where the visit came from and cookie identifiers, used to understand traffic and improve the website. Legal basis: your consent (article 6.1.a). Form fields and URL parameters are not sent by our measurement tag.
No marketing e-mail, resale or profiling is carried out with this information.
Recipients and hosting
Only the studio’s founder reads requests. They are processed by technical subcontractors bound by contract:
- Vercel Inc. (United States) hosts the website; server functions run in the Paris (cdg1) region.
- Database: Neon (PostgreSQL), Francfort, Allemagne (fra1).
As Vercel Inc. is established in the United States, some data may be transferred there. These transfers rely on Vercel’s certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023) and on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. With your consent, Google receives audience measurement data and may process it outside the European Union, including in the United States, under its own transfer safeguards.
Retention
- Request with no follow-up: deleted at the latest twelve months after the last exchange.
- Request followed by a contract: kept during the relationship, then archived for the period required by law (ten years for accounting records).
- Rate-limiting identifiers: deleted after the protection window.
- Detailed Google Analytics user and event data: retention set to two months, not extended on each new visit. This does not apply to aggregated reports.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Write to the address above; you will receive an answer within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
